Role: Factory Manager (Day Shift & Night Shift)

Reporting To: Plant Head / Director / MD
Role Purpose
To ensure disciplined, efficient, and uninterrupted factory operations across shifts, with strong control over production, manpower, safety, and issue resolution, especially during sensitive operational situations.
Key Responsibilities1. Production Management
- Ensure achievement of daily and monthly production targets
- Monitor line efficiency, output, and wastage
- Take immediate corrective actions in case of delays or breakdowns
2. Manpower Management
- Ensure labour attendance, discipline, and productivity
- Handle worker concerns proactively to prevent escalation
- Coordinate with HR for grievances, absenteeism, and conflicts
- Maintain accountability across shifts
3. Shift Operations Management
- Ensure smooth shift handover with proper communication
- Avoid production loss during shift transitions
- Maintain continuity of operations between day and night shifts
4. Crisis and Situation Handling
- Act as the first point of control during disputes or disruptions
- Prevent production stoppage due to mismanagement
- Escalate critical issues to management in a timely manner
5. Quality and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to quality standards
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and compliance on the shop floor
- Prevent production-related customer complaints
6. Cross-functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Purchase, Logistics, HR, and Maintenance
- Ensure material availability and dispatch alignment
