Job Summary
We are hiring a Costing Engineer / Cost Estimation Executive for a leading manufacturing and architectural solutions company. The candidate should have hands-on experience in reading and interpreting AutoCAD drawings, preparing cost estimates, and coordinating with sales and design teams. Candidates from Mechanical or Civil Engineering backgrounds with strong analytical and coordination skills will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates and quotations based on architect drawings and project requirements.
- Interpret and analyze AutoCAD drawings for accurate costing and estimation.
- Coordinate with sales representatives for offer preparation and project priorities.
- Ensure timely submission of offers within defined turnaround time.
- Revise quotations and estimates based on client or architect modifications.
- Provide technical and product support to sales teams and channel partners.
- Prepare and maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR), sales sheets, and project documentation.
- Collect and organize project documents including KYC, site plans, joinery details, elevation analysis, etc.
- Prepare post-order cost estimates and verify estimates prepared by junior team members.
- Coordinate with the design team regarding pricing queries and design modifications.
- Monitor departmental workflow and support process improvements.
- Train new team members on costing software and estimation processes.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.

Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with MBA preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in costing, estimation, or technical sales support.
- Strong understanding of CAD software and architectural drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Experience in manufacturing, architectural products, construction materials, façade, fenestration, or related industries preferred.
