Job Summary
The ICU RMO is responsible for providing immediate medical care and continuous monitoring of critically ill patients admitted in the Intensive Care Unit. The doctor will assist consultants in patient management, emergency handling, documentation, and coordination with nursing and support staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage critically ill ICU patients.
- Perform detailed patient assessment and clinical examination.
- Handle medical emergencies including CPR, intubation assistance, and resuscitation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and daily progress notes.
- Interpret laboratory reports, ABG, ECG, X-rays, and other investigations.
- Coordinate with consultants for treatment planning and escalation.
- Ensure proper medication orders and implementation of treatment protocols.
- Supervise infection control and ICU safety protocols.
- Communicate patient condition updates to senior doctors and relatives when required.
- Participate in ward rounds and clinical discussions.
- Maintain ICU documentation as per NABH/NABL standards.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of critical care and emergency management.
- Ability to handle ventilators and emergency equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Quick decision-making ability under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of ACLS/BLS protocols.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
