Job Description: Senior Relationship Manager / Lead Relationship Manager

Position Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished, strategic, and results-driven Senior Relationship Manager with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience. In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for managing high-value enterprise accounts, driving client retention, unlocking cross-selling and upselling pathways, and serving as the executive escalation point for strategic partners.

The ideal candidate blends exceptional emotional intelligence with sharp business acumen, a proven track record of handling major client portfolios, and the capability to lead cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio & Account Strategy: Oversee, nurture, and expand relationships with high-net-worth or enterprise-level clients, acting as the primary strategic advisor.
Revenue Growth & Monetization: Drive top-line growth by identifying, developing, and executing cross-selling, upselling, and contract renewal strategies across the portfolio.
Executive Engagement: Build long-term, trusted advisory relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers within client organizations.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate seamlessly with internal departments—including product, sales, marketing, legal, and customer support—to ensure flawless service delivery and customized solution alignment.
Risk Mitigation & Retention: Anticipate client challenges, spearhead proactive retention initiatives, and resolve high-stakes complaints or operational escalations swiftly.
Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory shifts to offer proactive insights to both clients and internal executive leadership.
Team Mentorship: Guide, mentor, and upskill junior relationship managers and account executives, fostering a culture of high performance and client-first execution.
Reporting & Forecasting: Deliver accurate pipeline forecasts, account health summaries, and portfolio performance analytics to senior management using modern CRM infrastructure.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in Client Relationship Management, Key Account Management, or Business Development within a fast-paced corporate environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced postgraduate qualification is strongly preferred.
Track Record: Demonstrated history of managing large-scale portfolios, retaining key accounts, and consistently meeting or exceeding aggressive revenue and retention targets.
Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional verbal, written, negotiation, and executive presentation capabilities, with the poise to navigate sensitive corporate negotiations.
Technical Acumen: Proficient with enterprise CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho) and advanced data-driven reporting tools.
Mindset: Strong strategic thinker with an analytical approach to problem-solving and an unwavering commitment to client advocacy.
