Job Description:
The Administrative Assistant with Accounting Knowledge will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role involves handling a variety of tasks related to organization and communication, as well as performing basic accounting duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing emails, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and invoices.
Process accounts payable and receivable, including data entry and reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Support the HR department with onboarding and payroll processing.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
