3. Sales Process Management
· Present and demonstrate vehicles: Showcase cars to potential buyers, highlighting key features and benefits that meet their needs.
· Negotiate pricing: Discuss pricing, trade-in options, financing terms, and special offers to close sales.
· Offer additional services: Suggest add-ons such as extended warranties, service plans, or insurance options.
4. Customer Relationship Management
· Build rapport and trust: Establish strong relationships with customers to ensure a positive experience, encouraging repeat business and referrals.
· Follow up: Contact leads and potential customers after initial interactions, nurturing ongoing interest and guiding them through the decision-making process.
5. Sales Targets and Performance
· Meet sales quotas: Work towards achieving individual or team sales targets and performance goals set by the dealership.
· Upselling: Maximize sales by offering higher-end models, packages, or financing options.
6. Documentation and Paperwork
· Prepare sales contracts: Ensure all necessary paperwork for the sale, including financing and trade-in agreements, is completed accurately.
· Processing transactions: Handle payment processing, down payments, and assist with the financing process.
7. Market Research and Competitor Awareness
· Stay updated on market trends: Keep abreast of industry developments, competitor offerings, and changing customer preferences to remain competitive.
· Provide feedback: Relay customer feedback and market trends to the dealership management to help refine sales strategies.
8. Collaboration with Other Teams
· Coordinate with finance and insurance departments: Collaborate with the finance team to facilitate loan applications, approval processes, and insurance offers.
· Work with service teams: Coordinate vehicle delivery, maintenance, and service scheduling with the service department.
9. Maintain a Clean and Organized Showroom
· Visual merchandising: Ensure that the dealership’s showroom is clean, well-organized, and attractive to customers.
· Vehicle presentation: Ensure that cars are clean, well-maintained, and displayed properly.
10. Compliance with Legal and Ethical Standards
· Adhere to dealership policies: Follow all dealership policies, guidelines, and procedures, including legal requirements related to sales and finance.
· Maintain confidentiality: Safeguard customer information and protect privacy.
