We are seeking a detail-oriented and research-driven Content Writer to create high-quality blog articles focused on current immigration laws and policy updates.
The role involves monitoring official immigration updates and transforming complex legal information into clear, engaging, and easy-to-understand content for a global audience.
You will be writing about key updates from sources such as IRCC and other official immigration authorities.
Work Schedule
This position follows Eastern Time (Toronto, Canada) business hours.
- Primary Schedule: Eastern Time (Toronto)
- Expected Working Hours for Candidates in India: Approximately 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM IST
- Candidates should be comfortable working overnight shifts to align with the Canadian team and ensure timely coverage of immigration news and policy updates.
Responsibilities
- Write blog content on current immigration laws and policy changes
- Research updates from official government immigration sources
- Summarize changes in:
- Study permits
- Work permits
- Permanent Residency (PR) pathways
- Express Entry & PNP programs
- Convert legal/technical language into simple, reader-friendly articles
- Ensure all content is accurate, updated, and well-structured
- Apply basic SEO principles for blog optimization
- Monitor immigration updates regularly for content updates

- Strong English writing and editing skills
- Ability to understand and simplify policy/legal content
- Good research and fact-checking skills
- Basic understanding of SEO writing
