Job Summary :-
The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the overall finance function of SABCO Group, including Financial Planning , Investment oversight , accounting, taxation, budgeting, compliance, cash flow management, and financial reporting for manufacturing and trading operations. The role ensures strong financial controls, statutory compliance, and supports management with accurate financial insights for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities (KRA)Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate accounting of manufacturing and trading activities.
- Monitor profitability, cost structures, and margins across units.
- Provide MIS reports to management with analysis and recommendations.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor budget vs actual performance and highlight variances.
- Implement cost control measures in production, procurement, logistics, and overheads.
Accounting & Compliance
- Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts as per statutory requirements.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and supervise accounts team.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, and other applicable laws.
Taxation (Direct & Indirect)
- Oversee GST filings, returns, reconciliations, and audits.
- Manage income tax compliance, TDS, and assessments.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Manage cash flow, fund planning, and banking operations.
- Monitor receivables, payables, inventory, and credit control.
- Optimize working capital for manufacturing and trading cycles.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Implement and monitor internal financial controls and SOPs.
- Ensure risk identification and mitigation related to finance.
Banking & Finance Coordination
- Liaise with banks for credit facilities, limits, renewals, and documentation.
- Manage loans, overdrafts, LC/BG, and other banking instruments.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Timely closure of monthly and annual accounts
- Accuracy and quality of MIS reports
- GST & tax compliance with zero penalties
- Improvement in cash flow and working capital cycle
- Budget adherence and cost optimization
- Audit observations and closure effectiveness
Qualification & Experience
- Education: CA Inter / MBA (Finance) / M.Com finance
- Experience: 15–20 years of experience in finance, preferably in manufacturing & trading companies
- Strong exposure to GST, taxation, costing, and audits is mandatory
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and statutory compliance
- Experience in manufacturing costing and trading operations
- Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Leadership and team management skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
Preferred Profile
- Experience handling multi-company or group accounts
- Exposure to factory accounting and inventory valuation
- Local candidate preferred (Thrissur / nearby areas)
- Retired professionals with prior experience as Finance Manager or Assistant General Manager in manufacturing and Trading segments are preferred.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
