Position: Block Incharge – Housekeeping

Job Summary
The Block Incharge is responsible for managing all housekeeping activities within an assigned block, building, floor, ward, hostel, plant, or facility area. The role ensures cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, manpower management, and compliance with safety standards while maintaining service quality.
Key Responsibilities1. Operations Management
- Supervise daily housekeeping activities in the assigned block.
- Ensure cleaning schedules are completed on time.
- Monitor cleanliness of rooms, corridors, washrooms, staircases, and common areas.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks.
2. Manpower Management
- Allocate duties to housekeeping staff.
- Prepare duty rosters and shift schedules.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and productivity.
- Train new employees on housekeeping procedures and standards.
3. Inventory & Material Control
- Maintain stock of cleaning chemicals, consumables, and equipment.
- Issue materials to housekeeping staff.
- Track usage and report shortages.
- Coordinate procurement of housekeeping supplies.
4. Quality & Hygiene Control
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained.
- Address complaints related to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Implement corrective actions when standards are not met.
- Support audits and inspections.
5. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure proper use of PPE and cleaning chemicals.
- Enforce safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
- Report accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
6. Reporting
- Maintain daily housekeeping reports.
- Submit manpower, attendance, and material consumption reports.
- Escalate maintenance issues to the engineering/maintenance department.
- Keep records of inspections and corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Any Graduate / Diploma (preferred).
- 3–8 years of experience in housekeeping, facility management, hospital, hotel, hostel, industrial, or commercial housekeeping.
- Experience in team handling is preferred.

This format is suitable for hospitals, hotels, educational institutions, residential townships, factories, and commercial facilities.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
