We are currently hiring for the following positions at Hotel Saffron Leaf:

Open Positions:

* Front office Associate

Position Summary:

Front Office Associate – Duties & Responsibilities

1. Guest Service

Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival.
Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints professionally.
Provide information about hotel facilities, services, timings, and local attractions.
Ensure a pleasant and personalized guest experience.

2. Reservations & Room Management

Handle room reservations, modifications, cancellations, and inquiries.
Verify guest details and booking information.
Coordinate with Reservations and other departments regarding room availability.
Ensure accurate allocation of rooms as per guest requirements.

3. Front Desk Operations

Maintain accurate records of guest arrivals, departures, and room status.
Process payments, bills, and receipts accurately.
Maintain proper cash handling and follow hotel financial procedures.
Ensure all guest information is entered correctly into the PMS.

4. Guest Communication

Answer telephone calls and respond to guest emails/messages professionally.
Handle wake-up calls and guest requests promptly.
Maintain clear and courteous communication with guests at all times.

5. Coordination with Departments

Coordinate with Housekeeping regarding room status and cleanliness.
Inform Engineering about maintenance issues reported by guests.
Coordinate with F&B, Security, Transport, and other departments when required.
Ensure guest requests are communicated and followed up properly.

6. Guest Complaints & Problem Solving

Listen carefully to guest concerns and resolve them promptly within authority.
Escalate serious complaints to the Front Office Manager.
Follow up with guests to ensure satisfactory resolution.

7. Upselling & Revenue

Promote room upgrades and hotel facilities where appropriate.
Inform guests about available hotel services and packages.
Support the hotel in achieving room revenue and occupancy targets.

8. Safety & Compliance

Follow hotel SOPs, policies, and Front Office procedures.
Maintain guest confidentiality and protect personal information.
Follow security, fire, emergency, and safety procedures.
Report suspicious activities or security concerns immediately.

9. Shift Responsibilities

Complete proper shift handover to the next Front Office Associate.
Maintain the logbook and record important guest information.
Ensure the front desk and lobby area remain organized and professional.
Complete all assigned tasks before the end of the shift.

10. Professional Standards

Maintain a neat and professional grooming standard.
Demonstrate a positive, polite, and helpful attitude.
Work as a team and support colleagues during busy periods.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Front Office Manager or management.
