We are looking for a knowledgeable, creative, and enthusiastic AI/ML Tutor who can introduce students to the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning through practical, interactive, and age-appropriate lessons.
The ideal candidate should be able to simplify complex technical concepts and make AI/ML understandable and enjoyable for young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and interactive online AI/ML classes for students.
- Introduce students to fundamental concepts of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
- Explain concepts such as data, algorithms, models, training, prediction, classification, and pattern recognition in an age-appropriate manner.
- Introduce students to practical applications of AI in everyday life.
- Teach basic programming concepts, particularly Python, where appropriate.
- Introduce students to beginner-friendly AI/ML projects and experiments.
- Guide students in building simple AI-powered applications and projects.
- Introduce concepts such as computer vision, natural language processing, generative AI, and chatbots according to the student's level.
- Teach students how to use AI tools responsibly, creatively, and ethically.
- Encourage students to experiment, ask questions, solve problems, and develop computational thinking.
- Design practical activities, coding exercises, projects, and challenges based on students' skill levels.
- Adapt teaching methods according to students' age, knowledge, learning pace, and interests.
- Provide constructive feedback and monitor student progress.
- Communicate student progress to parents when required.
- Maintain a positive, interactive, and student-friendly online classroom environment.
- Follow SkillWing Academy's curriculum, teaching standards, and class procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of fundamental AI/ML concepts.
- Practical knowledge of Python and common programming concepts.
- Experience with machine learning libraries/frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch is preferred.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple and understandable language.
- Prior experience teaching or mentoring students is preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Patient, enthusiastic, and comfortable working with young learners.
- Good spoken English, particularly for communicating with international/NRI students.
- Comfortable conducting classes using Zoom, Google Meet, or similar platforms.
