Key Responsibilities1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
- Design and execute a seamless onboarding experience to welcome and integrate new hires into the company culture.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve retention strategies.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and career development.
- Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts or grievances with empathy, confidentiality, and fairness.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives (e.g., team-building events, wellness programs, and recognition schemes).
3. Performance Management & Training
- Facilitate the annual and mid-year performance review cycles, ensuring constructive feedback loops.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities for staff.
- Coach managers on best practices for leadership, team management, and conflict resolution.
4. Compliance & HR Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital employee records (HRIS).
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and employment regulations.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits, leaves of absence (FMLA, PTO, parental leave), and workers' compensation.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and updating of company policies and the Employee Handbook.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience working in an HR role (Generalist experience preferred).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of labor laws, compliance practices, and HR best practices.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, Rippling) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
