Full job description

We are looking for an Accounts Executive to handle day-to-day bookkeeping, accounting and billing activities. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, ERP-based billing, E-Way Bills, packing slips and coordination with internal departments.

Knowledge of GST, GST returns and statutory compliance will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day books of accounts and accounting records.
Handle sales and purchase entries in ERP/accounting software.
Prepare and process customer invoices/billing through ERP.
Generate E-Way Bills and other required dispatch documents.
Prepare packing slips, delivery documents and related paperwork.
Maintain and reconcile customer/vendor ledgers.
Handle bank, cash and other routine accounting entries.
Assist in accounts reconciliation and month-end closing activities.
Coordinate with Sales, Dispatch, Stores and other departments for billing and accounting requirements.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices and accounting records.
Ensure accuracy of GST details, HSN codes, rates and invoice information.
Knowledge of GST returns, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GST reconciliation will be an added advantage.
Assist the senior accounts team in other accounting and finance-related activities.

Shift & Working Requirements

This is a rotational-shift position.

The candidate should be flexible to work during late evenings or night hours when required, particularly during festive seasons, peak business periods or high-dispatch days.

Since the shifts are rotational, if an employee works late into the evening/night, the next day's reporting time will be adjusted accordingly.

The role therefore requires someone who is comfortable with flexible working hours and rotational shifts, while maintaining proper work-life balance through shift adjustments.

Candidate Profile

B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification preferred.
2–5 years of relevant experience in accounts/bookkeeping and billing.
Practical knowledge of ERP/accounting software.
Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Experience in manufacturing/trading companies will be preferred.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
GST knowledge is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
Candidate should be willing to work in rotational shifts and during extended hours when business requirements demand.
