Full job description

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and performance-driven SEO Specialist who can improve the brand’s online visibility, website traffic, and organic sales growth. The candidate will be responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies for the Shopify website, product pages, collections, blogs, and overall digital presence.

The ideal candidate should understand e-commerce SEO, keyword research, content optimization, technical SEO, and performance tracking, especially within the fashion and lifestyle industry.

Key ResponsibilitiesOn-Page SEO

Optimize product pages, collection pages, blogs, and website content for search engines.
Write and optimize SEO-friendly titles, meta descriptions, ALT tags, and URLs.
Improve internal linking structure and content hierarchy.
Ensure proper keyword placement without keyword stuffing.

Keyword Research & Strategy

Conduct keyword research for products, collections, blogs, and seasonal campaigns.
Identify high-converting and low-competition keywords.
Monitor search trends related to ethnic wear, handloom fashion, sarees, kurtas, dresses, and festive collections.
Develop SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and traffic.

Technical SEO

Monitor website health, indexing, crawl issues, and broken links.
Improve website speed and mobile SEO performance.
Coordinate with developers for technical SEO improvements.
Ensure Shopify SEO best practices are properly implemented.

Content SEO

Work with the content and social media team to create SEO-optimized blogs and landing pages.
Suggest blog topics and content ideas based on search demand.
Optimize existing content to improve rankings and engagement.

Performance Monitoring

Track rankings, website traffic, conversions, and organic sales performance.
Monitor Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools regularly.
Share weekly and monthly SEO performance reports.
Analyze competitor SEO activities and industry trends.

Marketplace & Campaign SEO Support

Support SEO optimization for collection launches and festive campaigns.
Help improve discoverability across search engines and marketplaces.
Coordinate with performance marketing and website teams for growth strategies.

Skills Required

Strong understanding of Shopify SEO and e-commerce SEO.
Knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, or similar SEO tools.
Understanding of technical SEO fundamentals.
Ability to perform keyword research and competitor analysis.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in fashion, lifestyle, or D2C brands preferred.
Understanding of content marketing and blog optimization.
Basic understanding of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) is a plus.
Passion for fashion, handloom, and ethnic wear industry trends.

Work Expectations

Maintain regular SEO audits and optimization activities.
Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and SEO trends.
Coordinate effectively with content, design, and development teams.
Deliver tasks within timelines with accuracy and consistency.

Performance Evaluation

Performance will be evaluated based on:

Organic traffic growth
Keyword ranking improvements
Website visibility and impressions
Organic conversion and sales growth
Technical SEO health
Quality and consistency of optimization work
