Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Ward Boy to assist patients, support nursing staff, and help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable hospital environment. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, responsible, and willing to work in rotational shifts. Typical ward boy responsibilities include patient assistance, transportation, ward cleanliness, and supporting healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with movement, transfers, and basic daily needs.
- Support nurses and doctors during routine ward activities.
- Transport patients, medical records, samples, medicines, and equipment between departments.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of wards, beds, wheelchairs, stretchers, and patient areas.
- Help with changing bed linens and preparing patient rooms.
- Follow hospital infection control, safety, and hygiene protocols.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and emergency situations.
- Ensure patient comfort while maintaining dignity and confidentiality.
