Full job description

Key Responsibilities:

Handle daily accounting activities including journal entries, general ledger, and expense tracking.
Oversee hospital billing reconciliations and verify patient accounts and third-party payments (insurance, TPAs).
Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy in supplier and vendor payments.
Reconcile bank statements, patient deposits, and internal department balances regularly.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and regulatory bodies.
Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations, GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
Support internal and external audits, including maintaining proper documentation.
Assist in budgeting and cost analysis related to hospital services, departments, and units.
Work closely with the billing, procurement, pharmacy, and HR departments for financial coordination.
Supervise and guide junior accounting staff and ensure adherence to accounting standards and hospital policies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (CA Inter/MBA in Finance preferred).
4–6 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Proficiency in hospital information systems (HIS), ERP accounting software, and MS Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation (GST, TDS), and compliance related to hospitals.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with healthcare revenue cycle management or medical billing systems.
Knowledge of NABH and statutory audit practices in hospitals.
Familiarity with insurance claims and Third Party Administrator (TPA) processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred).
Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems).
Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Hospital Sector is most proffered
Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other applicable local taxation laws (for Indian companies).
