Full job description

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive fresh graduate to join us as an Accounts Executive. This is an entry-level role designed for someone starting their career in accounting — you will work closely with our Senior Accountant, learn the day-to-day accounting cycle end to end, and gradually take ownership of key accounting tasks of the company.

No prior full-time experience is required. What matters is accuracy, willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in building a career in finance and accounts.

Roles and Responsibilities

Managing entry records for the sales and purchases related to the various Group companies
Accounting of purchase, sales, receipts, payments, journal entries and petty cash entries
Maintaining a track of daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly tasks related to company finances
Assisting in payments management and keeping a record of all receipts
Entering records into Tally and coordinating with the Senior Accountant for filing of returns
Supporting the submission of accounting data to Auditors/Tax Professionals
Following up with staff and vendors to submit bills / invoices
Assisting in preparation of the Financial Planning sheet for the Company
Coordinating accounts/documents related work with bankers, CA and external consultants

What You Will Learn With Us

Complete accounting cycle across multiple group companies
Hands-on working knowledge of Tally Prime in a live business environment
Exposure to statutory compliance, audits, and coordination with CAs and consultants
Practical Excel skills for reconciliations, MIS, and financial planning

Basic Qualifications

Degree: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)

NOTE: A degree in M.Com / MBA Fin / CMA or CA Inter would be a bonus but isn't a requirement.

Experience: 0–1 years. Fresh graduates and candidates with internship or articleship exposure are welcome
Good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
Basic or working knowledge of Tally Prime (academic or internship exposure is acceptable)
Understanding of fundamental accounting concepts — journal entries, ledgers, debit/credit, reconciliations

Other Requirements

Willingness to learn and be proactive in work
Good communication skills
Fluency in spoken and written English would be a bonus
Should be able to work individually and along with a team
Must have a keen eye for detail

Location: Thane — for office related work.

Given the daily commute, we prefer candidates staying along the Central Line between Kurla and Kalyan.
