Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Executive with an engineering background to manage the company’s procurement activities efficiently. The candidate will be responsible for handling the complete procurement cycle including vendor sourcing, quotation analysis, negotiation, purchase order processing, supplier coordination, and inventory support. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, good communication abilities, knowledge of procurement procedures, and proficiency in MS Office tools. Familiarity with AI tools for reporting, analysis, and productivity enhancement will be considered an added advantage.
The Procurement Executive will work closely with internal departments such as engineering, production, stores, logistics, and accounts to ensure smooth procurement operations and timely material availability for business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:Procurement & Purchase Management
- Handle end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities
- Understand material requirements from internal departments
- Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO)
- Source and identify reliable suppliers and vendors
- Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and perform comparative analysis
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and quality standards
- Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services
Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery, and pricing
- Coordinate with vendors for order confirmation and delivery tracking
- Resolve supplier-related issues and delays effectively
- Maintain updated vendor database and procurement records
Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with engineering, production, warehouse, and accounts teams
- Follow up on pending deliveries and material shortages
- Communicate procurement updates to management and concerned departments
- Ensure smooth workflow between suppliers and internal teams
Inventory & Documentation
- Monitor inventory levels and support stock planning
- Maintain procurement documentation, invoices, and purchase records
- Ensure proper filing and documentation compliance
- Prepare procurement reports using MS Excel and ERP systems
MS Office & Reporting
- Use MS Excel for:
- Cost comparison sheets
- Vendor analysis
- Procurement tracking
- MIS reports
- Inventory monitoring
- Prepare presentations and procurement reports using PowerPoint and Word
AI Tools Usage
- Utilize AI-based tools for:
- Procurement data analysis
- Vendor comparison and evaluation
- Automated report generation
- Drafting professional emails
- Market research and cost optimization
- Productivity enhancement and workflow improvement
Procurement Process Knowledge:
The candidate should have understanding of the complete procurement lifecycle including:

Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Industrial or related field)
- Additional certification in Supply Chain or Procurement is an advantage
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
