Role and Responsibilities:

Implements API management solutions to include API proxies, security, and analytics Collaborates with Business Analysts and stakeholders to evaluate and understand business concepts and processes Ensures documentation is created and remains updated Able to troubleshoot and resolve production issues Participates in coordinated planning sessions, provides effort estimates and timeline commitments Refines and grooms the product backlog and user stories Works with a cross-functional team to build new features and functionalities with a focus on improving the integration experience for API consumers Performs in an Agile development cycle to deliver solutions that help drive digital commerce Writes Open API spec and smart docs for onboarding APIs to a developer portal Prior Experience:- 2-3 years of relevant IT industry work experience, including API

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Graduate

Preferred Skills:

Advanced skills implementing API Service architectures (SOAP, REST) Knowledge of Java framework like spring, springboot Solid knowledge of backend server components, APIs, and performance optimization In-depth understanding of API cache design and caching technologies Strong analytical skills and algorithms knowledge Experience in RDBMS (like MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) Adept at mapping customer requirements to a solution approach Technical knowledge of developing apps in a PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS environment Understanding of object-oriented programming to include but not limited to - Java, J2EE, PHP, JavaScript, NodeJS Hands-on experience working with XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, OAuth, and Swagger Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (like Git) Experience with data visualization techniques Ability to pick up new technologies and business knowledge quickly Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to communicate at all levels and work independently within a geographically distributed team Highly motivated and self-driven Attention to details

Additional Notes:

Desired Skills (Nice to have):- Excellent comprehension of API Management concepts and experience using API management solutions Significant understanding of Microservice patterns & concepts & its application in problem-solving Broad understanding of mobile, cloud, on-premise, and hybrid solutions as well as containers and deployment platforms (like AWS) Understanding of NoSQL DB (like MongoDB) Experience working in Spring, Hibernate, etc. Experience with networking protocols and technologies - TCP/IP, SMTP, FTP, HTTP, DNS, WAN, LAN, VPN, LDAP, Internet, Intranet, Extranet Proficiency with shell scripting (like Linux Bash)
