URGENT HIRING | Food Chemist

Position: Food Chemist
Location: Noida, Sector-62 (iThum)
Experience: 1–3 Years
Industry: Food Consulting & Food Manufacturing
Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time | 5 Days Working (Alternate Saturdays Off)
Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech in Chemical Technology, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Food Chemist with hands-on experience in food analysis, laboratory testing, product formulation, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of food chemistry, analytical techniques, quality standards, and regulatory compliance, along with practical exposure to food manufacturing and product development.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct chemical, physical, and analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Support product formulation, reformulation, and quality improvement initiatives.
Perform shelf-life studies, stability testing, and product validation.
Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and other food safety and quality standards.
Prepare laboratory records, technical reports, Certificates of Analysis (COA), and testing documentation.
Investigate quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Quality teams to support product development and process optimization.
Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration records, and ensure adherence to laboratory best practices.
Monitor ingredient quality and ensure compliance with product specifications.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of food chemistry, analytical testing, and laboratory techniques.
Hands-on experience in product formulation, quality control, and laboratory operations.
Good understanding of FSSAI regulations, HACCP, GMP, and Quality Management Systems.
Experience in shelf-life studies, stability testing, and food safety practices.
Proficiency in laboratory documentation, report preparation, and data analysis.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
