Full job description

The Collection Head will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's debt collection operations. This senior leadership role involves developing and implementing effective collection strategies, optimizing recovery rates, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and leading a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in collections, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of achieving collection targets while maintaining customer relationships.

Develop, implement, and continuously refine collection strategies and policies to maximize recovery rates and minimize losses across various product portfolios.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of collection managers and agents, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Monitor and analyze collection performance metrics, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual collection targets.
Ensure strict adherence to all local and national regulatory requirements, including consumer protection laws and fair debt collection practices.
Manage relationships with external collection agencies, legal counsel, and other third-party vendors to optimize collection efforts.
Implement and oversee risk management protocols related to collection activities, including fraud detection and prevention.
Prepare and present comprehensive reports on collection performance, portfolio health, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
Collaborate with other departments, such as credit, sales, and legal, to streamline processes and improve overall portfolio quality.
Identify and implement technological solutions and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of collection operations.
Handle escalated customer complaints and complex collection cases, ensuring fair and ethical resolution.
