IT Executive – School
Position Overview
The IT Executive is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the school’s IT infrastructure, computer systems, network operations, software applications, smart classroom technologies, and digital communication systems.
The role includes troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining hardware and software systems, ensuring data security, supporting online learning platforms, and providing technical assistance to staff, students, and management for smooth day-to-day school operations.
The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and effective coordination skills to ensure uninterrupted IT operations within the school.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Infrastructure Management
- Manage and maintain the school’s IT infrastructure including:
- Desktop computers
- Laptops
- Printers and scanners
- Servers
- Networking systems
- Wi-Fi connectivity
- CCTV systems
- Biometric devices
- Smart classroom equipment
- Ensure smooth functioning of all hardware and software systems.
- Monitor system performance and network stability regularly.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT-related services and AMC support.
2. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide technical support to:
- Teachers
- Administrative staff
- Students
- Management
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, internet, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems, software, and antivirus programs.
- Resolve printer, projector, smart board, and audio-video equipment issues.
- Provide immediate support during school events, online sessions, and examinations.
3. Smart Classroom & Digital Learning Support
- Support smart classroom operations and digital teaching tools.
- Assist teachers in handling:
- Smart boards
- Projectors
- Educational software
- Online learning platforms
- Presentation systems
- Ensure smooth operation of online classes, virtual meetings, and digital learning systems.
- Support examination software and computer lab activities.
4. Network & Data Security
- Monitor and maintain internet connectivity and local network systems.
- Ensure proper firewall, antivirus, and cybersecurity measures are implemented.
- Perform regular system backups and data recovery processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of school data and digital records.
- Monitor user access controls and IT usage policies.
5. Software & System Management
- Maintain and support school management software/ERP systems.
- Manage email systems, user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
- Update software licenses and maintain software inventory records.
- Assist departments in data management and reporting systems.
6. Documentation & Record Management
- Maintain proper records of:
- IT assets
- Software licenses
- AMC agreements
- Warranty records
- Repair and maintenance logs
- System configurations
- Network details
- User credentials and permissions
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of records in:
- Hard Copy Files
- Soft Copy / Digital Records
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and accessories.
- Prepare IT maintenance and issue reports regularly.
7. Computer Lab & Equipment Maintenance
- Maintain school computer labs and ensure systems are operational.
- Ensure proper functioning and cleanliness of IT equipment.
- Coordinate repair and replacement of damaged hardware.
- Conduct periodic maintenance and preventive checks.
8. Event & Administrative Support
- Provide technical support during:
- School functions
- Presentations
- Annual events
- Meetings
- Workshops
- Online sessions
- Assist administration in digital communication and reporting activities.
9. Professional Conduct & Development
- Follow school IT policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and confidentiality.
- Stay updated with latest technologies, educational software, and IT practices.
- Participate in IT training and professional development programs.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field – Preferred
- Diploma in Hardware & Networking / IT Support – Added Advantage
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or networking.
- Experience in schools or educational institutions preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
