Job Description – Manager Business Development

Manager – Business Development

Location

Aurangabad / Maharashtra (Travel Required)

Job Summary

Shree Ram Paints is looking for an energetic and aggressive Business Development Manager who can expand our paint manufacturing business, increase sales, appoint new dealers/distributors, and strengthen market presence across assigned territories. The candidate should have strong market knowledge in paints, building materials, hardware, or construction-related industries and must be capable of achieving rapid business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute business growth strategies for paint products.
Appoint and manage new dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
Expand market reach in new cities and territories.
Generate sales from retail, wholesale, project, and institutional markets.
Build strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and hardware dealers.
Conduct regular market visits to identify business opportunities and competitor activities.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets aggressively.
Lead negotiations and close new business deals effectively.
Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure timely supply.
Monitor dealer performance and support them with promotional activities.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
3–8 years of experience in paints, construction materials, chemicals, or FMCG sales.
Strong dealer/distributor network and market knowledge.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to travel extensively for business development activities.
Target-oriented and self-motivated personality.
Strong capability to open new markets aggressively.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in paint manufacturing or decorative/industrial paints industry.
Proven track record of increasing sales and dealer network.
Good understanding of market expansion strategies.
