The Consumer Insights Analyst is responsible for transforming consumer, market, and commercial data into actionable insights that drive business growth and strategic decision-making. The role partners with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and R&D teams to deliver consumer insights, support innovation initiatives, and strengthen FrieslandCampina's data-driven culture through advanced analytics and research.

What we Ask

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in Consumer Insights, Market Research, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence, preferably within FMCG
Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
Proven experience analyzing consumer, market, and commercial data to generate actionable business insights
Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, iSearch Analytics, or similar platforms
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills
Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at senior levels
Experience supporting innovation, growth-hacking, or commercial excellence initiatives is an advantage

Vacancy Description

1. Consumer Insights & Research

Lead the consumer insights agenda by recommending appropriate research methodologies and managing strategic and ad hoc research projects that address key business questions and opportunities.

2. Data Analysis & Business Insights

Analyze consumer, market, and commercial data using analytics platforms and research tools to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Translate complex data into actionable recommendations that support business growth.

3. Strategic Decision Support

Partner with commercial, marketing, sales, finance, and innovation teams to provide data-driven insights that inform strategic decision-making and improve business performance.

4. Growth Hacking & Innovation Support

Support growth-hacking initiatives by leading research and insight generation for Microbattles and other innovation projects designed to accelerate business growth and customer value creation.

5. Stakeholder Management

Act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams and senior leaders by delivering relevant, timely, and impactful insights that influence business strategies and priorities.

6. KPI Development & Performance Monitoring

Support business growth initiatives by defining KPIs, monitoring performance metrics, and establishing action standards that drive distribution growth, portfolio optimization, and commercial excellence.

7. Data Governance & Continuous Improvement

Drive data quality, governance, and accessibility initiatives to ensure data integrity and enable commercial teams to effectively utilize data in their daily decision-making processes.

8. Collaboration & Capability Building

Work closely with Global and Business Group Insight teams to share best practices, co-develop innovative research approaches, and strengthen insights capabilities across the organization.

9. Digital & Research Innovation

Champion digital thinking and modern research methodologies by identifying and implementing innovative tools and techniques that enhance insight generation and business impact.

Collaborates closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, R&D, research agencies
