Job Purpose/Overview
The vision of this role is to serve as the SAP MM and SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration Functional Consultant, responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting procurement and supplier collaboration solutions across the enterprise. The role focuses on integrating SAP Materials Management (MM) processes with SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration capabilities to enhance procurement operations, supplier engagement, inventory visibility, ASN processing, transaction transparency, and overall supply chain efficiency.
The consultant will partner closely with business stakeholders, suppliers, product owners, and technical teams to deliver scalable, integrated, business-aligned SAP MM and Ariba SCC solutions that support digital transformation and operational excellence initiatives. The role also drives process optimization, system enhancements, supplier onboarding, integration activities, and continuous improvement across procurement and supply chain collaboration processes.
Key Responsibilities

Support product owner to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and convert them to technical requirements for procurement and supplier collaboration processes.
- Configure, implement, and support SAP MM modules, including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master, Invoice Verification, and end-to-end procurement processes.
- Support SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration functionalities such as PO collaboration, supplier confirmations, ASN processing, inventory collaboration, and invoice collaboration.
- Solution and deliverSAP ECC enhancements and support S/4HANA implementation, rollout, migration, and enhancement projects.
- Collaborate with suppliers, business users, and technical teams to enable supplier onboarding, integration, and process alignment onto SAP SCC, EDI, API.
- Manage and support B2B, EDI, and API integrations between SAP ERP and supplier collaboration platforms.
- Coordinate with technical teams for development, enhancements, interfaces, and IDoc processing.
- Support integration with SAP FI, SD, WM/EWM, and PP modules to ensure end-to-end process alignment.
- Perform functional testing, SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and deployment support activities.
- Troubleshoot system and process issues and ensure timely resolution in coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, training materials, and end-user guides.
- Provide tier 2 and 3 production support and resolve incidents within defined SLA timelines.
- Support product owner to prepare and conduct user training, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Drive process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement across procurement and supply chain operations.
- Ensure compliance with organizational governance, standards, and SAP best practices
Job Specifications/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT or a relevant field

Experience in SAP MM functional consulting with strong domain expertise in procurement processes.
- Hands-on experience in SAP MM and SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration implementation, configuration, and support.
- Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, and supplier collaboration end-to-end processes.
- Proven experience working with Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipt (GR), Invoice Verification (IV), ASN processing, and supplier collaboration workflows.
- Experience working in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments with knowledge of end-to-end procurement cycles.
- Good understanding of EDI, IDocs, APIs, and supplier integration mechanisms across SAP landscapes.
- Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, system configuration, testing, and production support.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, procurement lifecycle, and supplier engagement processes.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and SAP implementation frameworks is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver within structured project environments.
