DESCRIPTION

Amazon B2B Payments and Lending (ABPL) revolutionizes financial services for businesses of all sizes, anywhere in the world, enabling them to delight their customers and make a positive impact to the communities they serve. As a SDE3, you will be responsible for design, development, test, deploy, deliver and support the large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications and tools that serve Amazon Business Customers. You will work as full-stack engineers building end to end experiences on Front-end, UI, UX frameworks / Back-end, REST APIs, leveraging a wide array of AWS services including EC2, S3, API Gateway, Workflow service, Step Function, DynamoDB, Lambda and infra-as-code with CDK scripts and much more. As a SDE3, You should be highly quantitative, have great judgment and passion for building a great customer experience, be inventive, and have a strong track record of delivery. You also have a pragmatic approach and iterative approach to building software: you have an ability to simplify and get things done with a demonstrated track record of building and delivering software and working effectively with external and internal teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
