About Team:

This job opening is in the team of Uttar Pradesh & Rajasthan (UPR) Cluster at Franklin Templeton - Business Title - Branch Manager in Agra location. The candidate will be responsible of managing sales in Agra. This comprises of handling banks, private wealth channel, IMFDs and retail channel.
The candidate should have good communication skills and sound knowledge of financial markets. He should be a go-getter in terms of achieving the set objectives defined by the organisation.

Brief on Role:

This is a responsible role in one of the locations in UPR Cluster. The candidate will get exposure to interact and grow all channels in the branch – Banks, Private Wealth, IMFDs and Retail channel. The candidate will also get an opportunity to guide and mentor trainees in this role and achieve business from them. This role requires good relationship building skills and strong partnership with business stakeholders to build business at FT. We are looking for a forward-thinking professional and smart working candidate who can assist expanding our distribution network and market share in Agra branch with the set of defined relationships.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of Branch Manager?

To conduct meeting with defined relationships and garner business in FT funds.
To have in-depth knowledge of FT Funds and be able to communicate the same with channel partners.
Build strong relationships and network with channel partners to scale up existing business and gain higher share from them.
Ability to conduct presentations and training to retail channel and scale up knowledge of channel partners.
To follow the guidelines and processes set for sales at FT and timely adhere to the same.
To ensure all set of compliance measures are followed while conducting business.

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

Possess good communication skills and understanding of financial markets.
Candidate should be a graduate/ post-graduate in the field of marketing or finance.
Candidate should have valid NISM: Series V - A: Mutual Fund Distributors Certification & NISM Series XIII: Common Derivatives Certification.
Organisational, planning, supervisory, and team building skills.
Flexible worker with ability to work under pressure and within tight timelines.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to engage with senior FT staff within business units.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to go beyond regular job responsibilities and create value-add for himself and the team at FT.

Work Shift Timings - 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM IST
