Job Title: Makeup Artist
Company: Pitambra Film & Production

Job Overview:
Pitambra Film & Production is seeking a skilled and creative Makeup Artist to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and applying makeup for actors, models, and performers in film, television, and promotional shoots. You will collaborate closely with directors, costume designers, and lighting teams to ensure each look aligns with the creative vision of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply makeup and hairstyling for actors and performers according to script requirements and character briefs
Collaborate with directors, cinematographers, and costume designers to create cohesive visual styles
Design character-specific looks including special effects makeup, if required
Ensure makeup continuity throughout shoots and filming schedules
Maintain hygiene standards and properly sanitize tools and products
Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and products
Manage makeup kits and ensure availability of necessary supplies on set
Be adaptable to different shooting environments and tight schedules

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Makeup Artist in film, television, or media production
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of makeup styles (natural, glam, character, SFX)
Knowledge of skin tones, face structures, and camera-friendly makeup techniques
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Certification or formal training in makeup artistry is preferred

Preferred Skills:

Experience with special effects (SFX) makeup
Basic hairstyling skills
Understanding of lighting and camera impact on makeup

Work Environment:

On-set filming locations, studios, and outdoor shoots
Flexible working hours including early mornings, late nights, and travel as required
