Full job description

PURPOSE

The Admissions Officer serves a critical role in supporting the future growth and stability of the school. By responding to admissions inquiries in a timely and professional manner, they help build trust and rapport with prospective parents and students. Strong knowledge and experience of the school’s program, including its strengths and areas for improvement, allows them to communicate authentically and develop relationships based on openness and confidence.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFront Office Management

Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Manage the front office, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondence
Provide administrative support to the school team as needed

REPORTING TO: School Principal
COLLABORATES WITH: Academic Director, Residential Life Director, and other members of staff

Admissions Management

Manage the admissions process from start to finish
Respond to all admissions inquiries within 24 hours (Monday to Saturday)
Answer questions and concerns of prospective parents and students
Collaborate with international representatives to support non-English speaking applicants
Assist parents through admission and enrollment procedures
Evaluate Financial Aid applications in collaboration with the Head of School
Maintain accurate records of inquiries, admissions statistics, and enrollment data
Prepare and send monthly reports to the leadership team
Identify and implement ways to streamline and improve the admissions process
Support the Marketing team in developing communications for prospective and newly enrolled students and parents

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of school programs and educational philosophy
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to respond professionally and promptly to parent/student inquiries
Ability to maintain professional boundaries with parents and students
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to follow direction effectively
Fluency in English, Punjabi, and/or Hindi
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and the ability to learn new software systems
