Full job description

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and academically strong School Principal to lead our CBSE school. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, administrative, academic, and people-management skills, with a proven track record of managing school operations and maintaining high academic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide overall academic and administrative leadership to the school.
Ensure effective implementation of CBSE curriculum, rules, regulations, and policies.
Lead and motivate teaching and non-teaching staff.
Monitor academic performance and continuously improve teaching-learning practices.
Supervise lesson planning, examinations, assessments, and academic activities.
Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
Develop and implement school policies, procedures, and systems.
Coordinate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and management.
Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews.
Oversee recruitment, training, development, and performance of staff.
Ensure proper maintenance of school records and documentation.
Promote co-curricular activities, sports, values, and overall student development.
Ensure compliance with CBSE and other applicable educational requirements.
Represent the school professionally before parents, authorities, and the wider community.
Work closely with the Management/Director to achieve the school's academic and institutional goals.

Eligibility & Experience:

Master's Degree in any relevant subject.
B.Ed. is mandatory/preferred as applicable to CBSE requirements.
Minimum 10–15 years of experience in school education, preferably in a CBSE school.
Previous experience as Principal / Vice Principal / Head of School / Senior Academic Coordinator will be preferred.
Strong knowledge of CBSE rules, regulations, documentation, and academic systems.
Excellent communication, leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Ability to lead a large team and manage school operations independently.

Strong academic and administrative leadership.
Professional, disciplined, and approachable personality.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Strong understanding of modern teaching methodologies and educational technology.
Ability to build a positive school culture and improve academic outcomes.
Willingness to relocate to Amritsar, Punjab.
