Full job description

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

Serve as an active member of the Business Intelligence Development Team
Define, design, develop, and enhance business intelligence solutions
Continuously improve reporting applications by leveraging various technologies such as Oracle, Hadoop, and Denodo
Collaborate closely with management, application owners, key business stakeholders, and team members to deliver high‑quality global services
Prepare and maintain documentation, including procedures for both routine and non‑routine tasks
Flexibility to adjust working hours during critical periods to ensure timely delivery and support
Participate in standby/on‑call rotations to provide critical support when required

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering or related domains
Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL within Oracle Database environments (mandatory)
Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data modelling techniques, and performance optimization
Proven ability to write efficient, maintainable, and high‑quality code
Experience in developing new solutions as well as enhancing and optimizing existing ones
Working knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem (e.g., Spark, HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Impala, Hive) is an added advantage
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality and accountability
Hands-on experience in data warehousing and reporting projects
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Excellent communication skills and proactive, collaborative team player
