Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled IT Service Engineer to manage and support the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensure system availability, and provide technical assistance to users. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware/software issues, maintain networks, and deliver excellent IT service support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and servers
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of IT services
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents and service requests within SLA timelines
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security policies
- Support network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, VPN)
- Perform system updates, backups, and patch management
- Document issues, solutions, and IT processes
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Proven experience as an IT Service Engineer / IT Support Engineer
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows / Linux operating systems
- Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Active Directory & Office 365
- Experience with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications like:
- CompTIA A+ / Network+
- Microsoft Certified (MCSA/MCSE)
- ITIL Foundation
- Experience in cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
- Knowledge of virtualization tools (VMware, Hyper-V)
