Full job description

The Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring exceptional guest service, coordinating between departments, resolving guest concerns, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Relations

Ensure all guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
Welcome VIPs and ensure special arrangements are completed.
Monitor guest satisfaction and take corrective action where required.
Conduct lobby presence throughout the shift.

Operations Management

Supervise the overall hotel operations during assigned shifts.
Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, Security, and Sales.
Ensure all departments function smoothly.
Monitor occupancy, arrivals, departures, and special requests.
Conduct daily operational rounds and inspections.

Team Management

Guide and support department supervisors during shifts.
Ensure staff grooming and adherence to company standards.
Assist in training and mentoring employees.
Monitor employee discipline and attendance.
Ensure shift handovers are completed properly.

Front Office Supervision

Monitor check-in and check-out procedures.
Ensure accurate billing and guest registration.
Authorize room changes, complimentary services, and guest adjustments as per company policy.
Monitor cash handling and night audit coordination.

Housekeeping Coordination

Ensure rooms are available on time.
Coordinate urgent cleaning requests.
Monitor cleanliness of public areas.
Report maintenance issues immediately.

Food & Beverage Coordination

Ensure restaurants and banquets operate efficiently.
Resolve guest concerns related to food and service.
Coordinate with the Executive Chef for special guest requirements.

Engineering & Maintenance

Report maintenance issues immediately.
Ensure guest complaints related to engineering are resolved promptly.
Follow up on pending maintenance work.

Safety & Security

Ensure compliance with fire and life safety procedures.
Handle emergency situations professionally.
Coordinate with security during incidents.
Ensure accident and incident reports are completed.

Administrative Responsibilities

Prepare Duty Manager reports.
Maintain shift logs.
Record guest complaints and resolutions.
Monitor lost and found procedures.
Ensure SOP compliance across departments.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
