Role Overview

The HR & Operations Associate will serve as a key member of the HR team, supporting the Manager – HR & Administration in managing overall organizational operations, people processes, and cross-functional execution across all business verticals.

This role extends beyond traditional HR responsibilities and requires an individual who can coordinate with multiple departments, drive operational efficiency, ensure seamless communication between teams, and support the execution of strategic organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesOrganizational Operations & Cross-Functional Coordination

· Support the Manager – HR & Administration in overseeing the overall operations and day-to-day functioning of the organization.

· Work closely with department heads across PTGR, MadeAsMe, Retail, Marketing, Partnerships, Finance, Founder's Office, and other business functions to ensure smooth operational execution.

· Act as a central coordination point between departments, ensuring timely completion of tasks, projects, and organizational priorities.

· Monitor departmental workflows, operational efficiency, and inter-departmental collaboration.

· Facilitate communication and coordination among teams to drive alignment with business goals and leadership directives.

· Assist in implementing organizational structures, systems, policies, and standard operating procedures.

· Support leadership in tracking organizational goals, workforce requirements, and business priorities.

· Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and effectiveness.

· Coordinate company-wide initiatives, events, meetings, reviews, and strategic projects involving multiple stakeholders.

Human Resources Operations

· Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, induction, confirmations, promotions, transfers, and exit formalities.

· Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and HRMS databases.

· Monitor attendance, leave management, employee records, and policy compliance.

· Support payroll coordination and employee data management.

· Ensure adherence to company policies, HR procedures, and compliance requirements.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management

· Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities across departments.

· Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and hiring priorities.

· Source candidates through job portals, referrals, LinkedIn, and recruitment partners.

· Manage interview scheduling, candidate communication, and recruitment tracking.

· Assist in workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.

Employee Engagement & Culture

· Support employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and team-building activities.

· Coordinate internal communication and employee welfare initiatives.

· Assist in implementing programs that strengthen employee experience and workplace culture.

· Facilitate employee feedback mechanisms and engagement surveys.

Administration & Workplace Management

· Support office administration, workplace operations, and facility management.

· Coordinate employee assets, office infrastructure, vendor management, and administrative services.

· Ensure a productive, organized, and employee-friendly work environment.

· Manage administrative documentation and operational records.

Reporting & Business Support

· Prepare HR dashboards, operational reports, and management presentations.

· Track key workforce and operational metrics.

· Generate insights and reports for leadership review and decision-making.

· Support special projects and strategic initiatives undertaken by the HR & Administration team and leadership.

Desired Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or a related discipline.

· MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, Operations, or Business Management preferred.

· 1-3 years of experience in HR Operations, Business Operations, HR Generalist, Administration, or People Operations roles.

· Experience in startups, retail, consumer brands, media, fashion, or high-growth organizations will be an advantage.
