Job Summary
The Aaminia Group is seeking an experienced and highly organized Outdoor Catering Manager to oversee catering operations for corporate events, weddings, government functions, social gatherings, festivals, VIP events, and outdoor food service projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring catering events while ensuring exceptional food quality, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & Coordination
- Plan and execute outdoor catering events from inquiry to completion.
- Coordinate with clients regarding menu selection, guest count, venue requirements, and event schedules.
- Conduct site inspections and event feasibility assessments.
- Prepare event operation plans and timelines.
Operations Management
- Manage end-to-end catering operations at event venues.
- Ensure timely setup, service execution, and dismantling of event facilities.
- Coordinate kitchen, service, logistics, housekeeping, and support teams.
- Ensure smooth event execution and guest satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for catering clients.
- Understand client requirements and provide customized solutions.
- Resolve client concerns and ensure service excellence.
- Maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual customers.
Team Management
- Supervise chefs, stewards, captains, service staff, drivers, and temporary manpower.
- Conduct staff briefings before each event.
- Monitor employee performance and discipline.
- Ensure proper manpower deployment based on event requirements.
Inventory & Asset Management
- Manage catering equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, buffet setups, furniture, and service materials.
- Monitor loading and unloading of event materials.
- Ensure proper handover and return of company assets.
- Minimize breakage, damage, and losses.
Cost Control & Budgeting
- Monitor event costs and profitability.
- Control food costs, manpower expenses, transportation costs, and operational expenses.
- Ensure proper utilization of resources.
- Prepare event cost analysis reports.
Logistics Management
- Coordinate transportation of food, equipment, and manpower.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to event locations.
- Manage vendor and supplier coordination.
- Monitor event setup and service schedules.
Food Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain quality control throughout food preparation and service.
- Follow company SOPs and local regulatory requirements.
- Ensure safe handling and transportation of food items.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare event reports and post-event analysis.
- Maintain records of event bookings, costs, sales, and customer feedback.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Coordinate with Finance for billing and payment follow-ups.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certification in catering or event management is an added advantage.
Experience Required
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in catering, hospitality, banquet, or event management operations.
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience handling large-scale outdoor catering events is preferred.
