About the Role
This is not a conventional sales role.
We are looking for professionals who already have established relationships with private schools and can immediately engage with school decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
Build Business Through Existing School Relationships
- Leverage your existing network to generate qualified meetings and business opportunities.
- Engage directly with school decision-makers and institutional stakeholders.
- Develop long-term partnerships with private schools.
Drive the Complete Institutional Sales Cycle
- Present Success Guru's school programs to management teams.
- Understand institutional requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close partnership agreements.
- Ensure smooth transition from sales to implementation.
Territory Development
- Independently manage your assigned geography.
- Identify new institutional opportunities.
- Conduct regular school visits and maintain an active sales pipeline.
- Build strategic relationships with school groups and educational institutions.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor education sector trends and competitor activities.
- Share market insights and customer feedback with leadership.
- Contribute to regional growth strategies.
Post-Sales Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with partner schools.
- Work closely with Academic and Operations teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Drive renewals and long-term institutional engagement.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for professionals who already understand the school ecosystem and have an established network of institutional contacts.
Candidates should have:
- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales within the education sector.
- Strong existing relationships with private schools across the assigned territory.
- Experience interacting with Principals, Trustees, Directors, Chairpersons, School Owners, Secretaries, and Senior Management.
- Proven ability to generate institutional partnerships through relationship-based selling.
- Strong understanding of how schools evaluate and purchase educational products and services.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage extensive field travel.
Preferred Industry Background
Candidates with experience in any of the following sectors will be given preference:
Educational Publishing
Professionals involved in selling curriculum, textbooks, assessments, English language learning, library solutions, or academic resources to schools.
EdTech & School Solutions
Professionals selling digital learning platforms, school ERP, assessment solutions, teacher training, STEM programs, AI learning solutions, classroom technology, or institutional education services.
School Engagement & Education Services
Professionals working in school outreach, education media, institutional partnerships, school events, career guidance, student engagement, or school development programs.
Institutional Education Sales
Professionals who have successfully managed school accounts, school chains, educational institutions, or K-12 partnerships across East and Northeast India.
What Will Make You Stand Out
Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Already manage an active portfolio of private schools.
- Have sold high-value institutional education programs.
- Have consistently achieved business targets in school sales.
- Have worked extensively in field-based education sales.
- Can demonstrate strong relationships with school leadership teams.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Education or a related discipline.
MBA will be an added advantage.
