Job Description: Senior Sales Associate

Location: Bongaigaon & Kokrajhar, Assam (with Barpeta corridor coverage)

Role Overview

As the Senior Sales Associate, you will serve as the core growth anchor for Tamz Group across Bongaigaon, Kokrajhar, and surrounding transit corridors. Because building a robust supply chain is our highest priority, your primary mission is to aggressively establish, expand, and manage a powerful network of stockists, wholesale distributors, and key retail partners. You will drive market penetration for our complete product portfolio—including Bitly hygiene essentials, Tara's breakfast cereals, Himalayan Heat multigrain snacks, and Cool It beverages—ensuring seamless secondary sales and digital order execution.

Key Responsibilities

Distributor & Stockist Acquisition (Crucial Focus): Hunt, evaluate, and onboard high-performing wholesale stockists and regional distributors who command strong financial standing and deep market reach.
Retailer Network Expansion: Rapidly scale direct retail and general trade store coverage across Bongaigaon and Kokrajhar to ensure maximum shelf placement and availability.
Channel Partner Management: Build long-term, profitable relationships with trade partners, ensuring continuous inventory flow, optimized stock rotation, and zero stock-outs.
Product Portfolio Push: Drive primary and secondary sales targets for Bitly hygiene items, Tara's breakfast range, Himalayan Heat snacks, and Cool It beverages.
Digital App Integration: Onboard stockists and retailers onto the company’s digital field force and ordering platform, ensuring transparent daily tracking, beat-plan compliance, and real-time inventory reporting.
Credit & Dispatch Coordination: Work closely with the logistics and finance teams to manage timely stock dispatches, secondary deliveries, and smooth credit/invoice collections.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor trade schemes, local wholesale pricing, and retailer feedback, providing actionable weekly reports to management.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 2 to 5 years of core field sales experience specializing in distributor appointment, stockist network expansion, and general trade/FMCG distribution within Assam or the North-East region.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
Skills: Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building capabilities; strong local language proficiency in English, Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, and Hindi.
Mobility: Must possess a valid driving license and be comfortable with extensive daily local travel across Bongaigaon, Kokrajhar, and Barpeta routes.

Pay: ₹20,238.16 - ₹32,933.37 per month
