Job Title - MIS Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented MIS Executive to manage, analyze, and maintain business information and reports that support operational and financial decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and the ability to transform raw data into meaningful reports and dashboards. The role requires close coordination with various departments to ensure timely collection, validation, and reporting of business data. The candidate should be capable of handling large volumes of information while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and consistency in reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports for management.
Collect, verify, compile, and analyze data received from different business functions.
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all reports before submission.
Design and maintain Excel-based dashboards, trackers, and reporting templates.
Generate financial, operational, and business performance reports to support strategic decision-making.
Reconcile data from multiple sources and identify discrepancies for timely resolution.
Coordinate with Finance, Sales, Operations, HR, and other departments to gather and validate information.
Automate recurring reports using advanced Microsoft Excel features, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF functions, Conditional Formatting, and Charts.
Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, expenses, collections, inventory, budgets, and other business metrics as required.
Support the Finance team in preparing financial summaries, variance reports, and budget-related analyses.
Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation of all reports for future reference and audit purposes.
Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with company policies while handling sensitive financial and operational information.
Assist management by providing ad hoc reports, business analysis, and performance insights whenever required.
Continuously review reporting processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
Stay updated with new reporting tools and techniques to improve overall MIS functions.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Financial Management, or any equivalent Finance-related discipline.
3–5 years of relevant experience as an MIS Executive, MIS Analyst, or in a similar reporting and data analysis role.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong command over formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Data Validation, Lookup functions, Charts, and Dashboard creation.
Working knowledge of ERP software, accounting systems, or business intelligence tools such as Power BI will be an added advantage.
Sound understanding of financial reporting, business processes, and data management practices.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and logical reasoning skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies and maintain high levels of data accuracy.
Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear and structured manner.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of business information.

Salary

Salary: Up to ₹30,000 per month, based on qualifications, experience, and interview performance.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
