Position Summary
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing business for Kirloskar Pneumatic products in Ludhiana and nearby industrial areas. The role requires combining technical understanding with field sales execution to generate enquiries, prepare techno-commercial proposals, close orders, and support customers through the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial and manufacturing segments.
- Visit prospective and existing customers to understand application requirements and recommend suitable compressor and pneumatic solutions.
- Prepare quotations, techno-commercial offers, and sales proposals.
- Follow up on enquiries, negotiate pricing, and convert offers into orders.
- Coordinate with the principal company for product selection, pricing, dispatch, and technical support.
- Conduct product presentations, trials, demonstrations, and customer meetings.
- Maintain relationships with OEMs, consultants, plant heads, purchase teams, and contractors.
- Track competitor activity, market pricing, and project opportunities.
- Support payment collection and maintain healthy receivables.
- Submit daily visit reports, enquiry status, forecast, and monthly sales updates.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in compressors, pumps, pneumatics, rotating equipment, or capital equipment sales.
- Freshers with strong technical aptitude and interest in industrial sales may also be considered for junior positions.
Skills Required
- Strong technical and commercial understanding.
- Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to read customer requirements and suggest appropriate product solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, email, and CRM/reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Ludhiana, Punjab, and nearby industrial belts.
Preferred Experience
- Air compressors, air dryers, compressed air systems, or industrial pneumatics.
- B2B sales to factories, OEMs, and project customers.
- Experience in channel/dealer sales will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
