Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Plant Head to lead and manage our monocarton manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for overall plant operations including production, planning, quality, maintenance, manpower management, dispatch, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in pharma packaging/carton manufacturing and the ability to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for complete plant operations of monocarton manufacturing unit.
Manage production planning and ensure timely delivery of orders.
Monitor printing, die cutting, pasting, finishing, packing, and dispatch activities.
Ensure product quality as per customer and pharma industry standards.
Optimize machine utilization, production efficiency, and wastage control.
Handle manpower planning, shift management, and team coordination.
Ensure preventive maintenance of machinery and utilities.
Maintain compliance with GMP, safety, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with purchase, stores, QC, sales, and dispatch departments.
Develop SOPs and implement process improvements.
Control production cost and improve profitability.
Handle customer audits and vendor inspections.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of monocarton manufacturing processes.
Experience in offset printing and packaging industry.
Leadership and team management skills.
Production planning and inventory management.
Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Knowledge of quality systems and pharma packaging standards.

Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Printing Technology, Mechanical, Production, or related field.

Experience

Minimum 8–15 years experience in monocarton/packaging manufacturing industry.
Prior experience as Plant Head / Production Head preferred.

Salary

Negotiable as per experience and industry standards.

Preferred Candidate

Candidate having experience in pharma & Food , Cosmetic packaging industry preferred.
Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Baddi, Himachal Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

Mono carton manufacturing : 5 years (Required)

Language:

Hindi, English (Preferred)
