We are seeking a Global Pricing Analyst based in India who will be responsible for managing customer and product pricing across different regions for our diverse manufacturing business.

This role involves tracking global market and competitor trends, monitoring fluctuations in commodity and raw material costs, and proactively suggesting price adjustments to safeguard margins while promoting growth.

Key responsibilities:

Keep track of global market trends and competitor pricing in key regions to ensure our pricing remains competitive and aligned with strategic objectives.
Monitor key commodity and raw material prices and evaluate their impact on product costs and margins by customer, product, and region.
Develop and maintain pricing and cost-to-serve models to simulate how raw material and commodity price fluctuations and proposed price adjustments affect volume, revenue, and margin.
Proactively identify situations where price increases, surcharges, or discount reductions are necessary due to cost inflation and market changes, and prepare well-supported business cases.
Collaborate with regional and global Sales teams to plan and execute price increases and surcharges, including creating customer-level proposals, negotiation parameters, and communication materials.
Support annual/global price review cycles and tender/contract renewals by conducting scenario analyses considering commodity outlooks, foreign exchange rates, volume assumptions, and price-volume-mix impacts.
Ensure pricing and discount structures in systems are accurate and consistent with quotes, contracts, and master data.
Create and distribute regular pricing and margin dashboards for management, organized by region, product family, and key accounts, highlighting risks and opportunities.
Work closely with Product Management, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure pricing reflects the value proposition, cost structure, and considerations of capacity and utilization.
Contribute to enhancing global pricing processes, policies, and governance, including standardizing discount frameworks and escalation protocols.

Desired profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
5-8 years of experience in pricing, commercial finance, or business analytics, preferably within manufacturing or industrial products with exposure to commodity-linked inputs.
Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities, including margin analysis, price-volume-mix assessment, and sensitivity analysis for fluctuations in raw material and commodity costs.
Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) and experience handling large datasets across multiple regions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex pricing and cost topics into clear, commercial language for Sales and business leaders.
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills to effectively work with global Sales, Finance, Product, and Supply Chain teams across different time zones.
High attention to detail, strong ownership mentality, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cost-volatile environment.

Nice-to-have:

Experience working in a global or regional pricing hub.
Exposure to value-based pricing, dynamic pricing, or structured discount policies in B2B manufacturing.
Familiarity with monitoring and interpreting commodity indices and incorporating them into pricing strategies.
