Role description

Highly skilled and experienced Oracle NetSuite Finance Functional Consultant to join our emerging team. The individual will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, configure the NetSuite system accordingly, and provide ongoing support and consultation to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness. The candidate should be able to understand and solve issues independently in easy to modrately difficult issues. Should have good problem solving and analytical skills.Also should be capable of guiding juniour resources. Along with managing resources, must be able to give strategic direction to the team.

Builds effective project performance tracking and reviewing models to ensure alignment with the business need.

This role uses consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into the clients business environment in order to achieve client expected business results.

Ability to drive workshops, obtain requirements & perform gap analysis, create design, prepare & execute testing & data conversion.

Assists clients in the selection, implementation, and support of NetSuite modules (including AR, AP, Fin Planning, Fixed Assets, GL, Expense Management, etc).

Drive pillar level revenue/quality management, project allocation, team building initiatives.

Other details

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. NetSuite certification in Finance is preferred.
Minimum of 4 full lifecycle implementations of NetSuite
Experience: Proven experience of 10-12 years as an Oracle NetSuite Functional Consultant with a focus on finance modules.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and taxation process.
Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of NetSuite Finance functionality, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
Understanding of processes like P2P, O2C, Inter-entity transactions, and consolidation in NetSuite Exposure to India Localization setup and Taxation setup (SuiteTax, LegacyTax, etc) in NetSuite.
Good knowledge and experience in monthly and yearly period closure activities in NetSuite (for single instances as well as one-world instances with multiple subsidiaries).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Solid project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple implementations concurrently.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their finance-related business processes and requirements. Identify and propose standard or customized solutions.
Implementation & Support: Develop comprehensive implementation plans, outlining milestones, timelines, and resource requirements. Configure Oracle NetSuite Finance modules to align with client requirements. Provide expert advice and consultation on best practices for utilizing NetSuite Finance modules. Develop user guides, and training materials for client reference and conduct user training sessions. Provide ongoing support to client post-implementation, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
Project & Team Management: Task assignments to functional and technical resources and tracking of tasks till closure Track and publish project progress to customer stakeholders as well as internal stakeholders.
