Job Purpose
The Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing the market, generating new business, managing existing customers, and achieving sales targets for Aryan Cables’ PVC and power cable products. The candidate must have relevant experience in the PVC Cable / Power Cable / Electrical Cable industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Develop new customers and expand the company's customer base in assigned territories.
- Visit EPC companies, OEMs, industries, government departments and institutional customers.
- Promote and generate business for PVC cables, LT/HT power cables, control cables, house wires and other electrical cable products.
- Generate enquiries, prepare/follow up quotations and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, dealers and distributors.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop new territories.
- Conduct regular market visits and collect information regarding competitor prices, products, schemes, customer requirements and market trends.
- Coordinate with the production, technical, commercial and dispatch teams for timely execution of customer orders.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and support the company in timely collection from customers.
- Prepare and submit Daily Visit Reports, Sales Reports, Tour Plans, Enquiry Reports and Collection Reports.
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline and regularly report sales performance to management.
- Participate in customer meetings, product presentations, dealer meets, exhibitions and promotional activities.
- Understand customer technical requirements and coordinate with the technical team to provide suitable cable solutions.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management.
- Ensure proper brand promotion and visibility of Aryan Cables products in the assigned market.
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory for customer development and business generation.
Mandatory Industry Experience
Candidates must have relevant experience in the following industries:
- PVC Cable Industry
- Power Cable Industry
- Electrical Wire & Cable Industry
- LT/HT Cable Industry
- Control Cable Industry
- Wire & Cable Manufacturing Industry
Candidates without relevant cable/electrical industry experience will not be preferred.
Industry-specific sales roles commonly emphasize customer development, dealer/distributor networks, market visits, enquiry conversion, collections, reporting and knowledge of cable products.
Qualification
- Graduate in BBA / B.Com / B.Tech / Diploma / MBA (Marketing) or equivalent.
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and basic reporting.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in PVC / Power Cable / Electrical Cable sales and marketing.
- Candidates with an established network of dealers, distributors, contractors, EPC companies and industrial customers will be preferred.
- Experience in the Bareilly/UP electrical market will be an added advantage.
