Junior Accountant – Indira Infratech Private Limited

Job Location: Bathinda, Punjab

Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description

Indira Infratech Private Limited is looking for a Junior Accountant to support our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, good attention to detail, and familiarity with accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial entries.

* Record and verify sales, purchase, receipt, and payment transactions.

* Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, and other accounting documents.

* Handle accounts payable and receivable records.

* Perform bank and cash reconciliation.

* Maintain ledgers and assist in preparing financial statements.

* Assist with GST, TDS, and other basic statutory compliance work.

* Manage petty cash and maintain proper supporting documents.

* Check bills, expenses, and payment records for accuracy.

* Maintain proper filing of financial and accounting documents.

* Assist the senior accountant in monthly closing and reporting.

* Coordinate with internal departments regarding bills, payments, and documentation.

* Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.

* Carry out other accounting-related tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

* Graduate in B.Com / M.Com / Accounting or a related field.

* 0–2 years of experience in accounting; freshers with relevant knowledge may also apply.

* Basic knowledge of Tally/Accounting Software and MS Excel.

* Understanding of basic accounting principles.

* Good numerical and organizational skills.

* Attention to detail and accuracy.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
