Electrical Engineer – for 9 Layer Blown Film Extrusion Plant

Role Overview

A seasoned Electrical/Electronic Engineer is required for facility maintenance activity of high-output 9-layer blown film extrusion plant. The role demands working in shifts and having expertise in industrial electrical systems, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Understand Design & Layout
Understand the Plant design, electrical layout, Electric Electronic circuits and components for machinery and power systems.
control systems for blown film extruder, transformers, Chillers, Air compressors, Slitters, UPS, DG, HVAC, VRV and PLCs.
Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, IEEE and various statutory standards.
Maintenance activities
Supervise and work with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems.
Perform predictive and preventive maintenance of Blown film Machines, Slitters, chillers, transformers, HVAC, and utility systems.
Troubleshoot faults in motors, drives, lighting, and control panels.
Monitor and optimize energy consumption using SCADA systems.
Project & Production Support
Support machine erection and commissioning.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth operation of high-tech extrusion machinery.
Maintain rooftop solar panels, lighting systems, and fire safety panels (FACP)
Training & Documentation
Train staff on handling electrical/electronic equipment.
Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management.
Ensure adherence to electrical safety SOPs and statutory regulations.

Equipment & Systems Handled

9-layer blown film extruders
chillers, HVACs, air washers
STP, WTP, fire hydrants, DG sets,
MDB, SDB, APFC, AMF, VFD, MCB, RCCB, ELCB, LCP, FACP
PID controllers, PLCs, sensors, motor drives

Eligibility Criteria

Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
Knowledge of IEEE, IS standards and electrical safety
Proficiency in project management and documentation
Familiarity with renewable energy and industrial automation
Understanding of harmonic control and testing

Preferred Industry Background

Person should have worked for at least 5 years in Multilayer blown film and Flexible packaging industry,
