Job Title: Senior Manager – Sales & Business Development

Job Summary
Shree NM Electricals is seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Sales & Business Development to drive revenue growth and market expansion across assigned territories. In this role, you will lead regional sales operations, expand our dealer and distributor network, secure project business, and build strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth: Formulate and execute target-driven sales plans to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Channel & Network Expansion: Identify, appoint, and manage relationships with dealers, distributors, stockists, and channel partners across the region.
Project & Key Account Sales: Generate and convert business opportunities across electrical, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and residential projects.
Product Approvals & Specifications: Liaise with consultants, architects, builders, and project stakeholders to get company products specified and approved.
Team Leadership & Performance: Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the regional sales team to ensure individual and collective targets are achieved.
Market & Commercial Management: Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market demand while overseeing collections, gross margins, and account receivables.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with technical, estimation, finance, warehouse, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth order execution and client satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience: 8–15 years of progressive sales/business development experience in the electrical industry.
Product Exposure: Knowledge of cables, switchgear, lighting, jointing kits, modular switches, fans, or allied electrical products.
Track Record: Demonstrated success in project sales, distribution channel development, and leading sales teams.
Skills: Strong negotiation, key account management, communication, and commercial acumen (pricing, margins, credit terms).
Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
Tools: Proficiency in MS Office and CRM or ERP software.

Regional sales revenue and gross margin achievement.
Rate of dealer and distributor network expansion.
Enquiry-to-order conversion ratio for projects.
Collection efficiency and reduction of outstanding receivables.
Sales team productivity and target fulfillment.
Customer retention and repeat business.
