We are seeking a Web and SEO Copywriter to create search-optimized, user-focused web content that drives organic traffic, improves discoverability, and converts visitors across the digital ecosystem.
Your team
This role sits within the Brand and Creative team at IG Asia, based across our APAC markets. You will be part of a regional creative department – spanning art direction, design, copy, video, and social – responsible for shaping IG’s brand presence and delivering creative output across all customer touchpoints.
Your role in the Team’s Success
You are a writer who understands that great web copy has to work twice – for the person reading it and the algorithm surfacing it. You know how to balance search intent with brand voice, and you use data to sharpen your instincts rather than replace them.
What you’ll do
You’ll write and optimise website copy for both SEO performance and user experience – conducting keyword research and integrating target terms naturally into content without sacrificing quality or brand voice. You’ll develop content briefs aligned to SEO strategy and search intent, and write meta descriptions, page titles, headers, and other on-page SEO elements with precision. Working closely with SEO specialists and content strategists, you’ll collaborate on content optimisation, audit and refresh existing web content to improve search rankings, and ensure all copy adheres to brand guidelines and regulatory requirements. You’ll also monitor content performance and bring data-driven optimisation recommendations to the team.
What you’ll need for this role
Requirements:
3 – 5 years of copywriting experience with a strong focus on web and SEO content
Solid understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and search intent
Proven ability to write for both users and search engines without compromising quality
Experience with CMS platforms and basic HTML
Comfortable working with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush
Experience conducting keyword research and developing content briefs
Strong working knowledge of on-page SEO elements – meta descriptions, title tags, headers, and more
Familiarity with compliance requirements for financial services web content
Understanding of content accessibility and UX writing principles
Knowledge of financial services terminology and products is a plus
