Competency
Definition for This Role
"Exceptional Mastery" Looks Like...
1. The Clinical Detective
This is your core nursing skill. It is the ability to use your sharp observational and questioning skills to uncover the full picture of an elder's health, even in a virtual setting.
You don't just take the family's request at face value. You ask the insightful follow-up questions that help you differentiate between what they think they need and what the elder actually requires for safe and effective care.
2. The Empathetic Translator
This is your communication superpower. It is the ability to listen with genuine compassion and then explain complex clinical needs and care solutions in simple, reassuring, jargon-free language.
You can build immediate rapport with a worried family member. You are fluent in English and can switch to a local dialect (e.g., Hindi, etc.) to ensure an elderly person feels comfortable and understood, making them feel heard and respected.
3. The Care Plan Architect
This is your problem-solving ability. It is the skill of taking your clinical findings and perfectly matching them to the right Emoha resources—never over-selling or under-serving.
You are a master of "right-sizing" care. You can confidently and correctly determine if an elder needs a GDA for mobility support, a certified Nurse for clinical tasks, or specific equipment like an oxygen concentrator, creating the perfect, cost-effective plan.
4. The Flawless Bridge-Builder
This is your operational discipline. It is the ability to create documentation that is so clear, accurate, and well-structured that the deployment team can execute your plan with speed and precision, without any ambiguity.
Your handover notes are the "source of truth." The CRT trusts your assessments implicitly because they are consistently thorough and accurate, which prevents errors and ensures the elder gets the right care from the very first day.
4. Required Experience & Qualifications
- Qualification: Must be a Registered Nurse with a degree in GNM or B.Sc. Nursing.
- Experience: Fresher or a minimum of 1 year of hands-on clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting (e.g., ICU, Medical-Surgical ward, Emergency Room). This is non-negotiable.
- Skills:
§ Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
§ Exceptional verbal communication and listening skills.
§ High proficiency in English and at least one or more local dialects is a strong advantage.
§ Comfortable and proficient with technology (video calls, computers, CRM systems).
