About the Role
The Head – Operations will be responsible for driving end-to-end operational excellence across all business verticals of the real estate development company, including project execution, sales coordination, CRM operations, administration, customer experience, compliance coordination, vendor management, infrastructure readiness, and inter-departmental alignment.
The role requires a highly disciplined, execution-oriented, process-driven leader capable of managing multiple teams, ensuring timely delivery, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining premium brand standards comparable to leading developers such as Lodha Group, Sobha Limited, and Brigade Group.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Operations Management
Oversee daily business operations across all departments.
Ensure seamless coordination between:
Sales
Presales
CRM
Marketing
Projects
Legal
Finance
Procurement
Liaison
HR & Administration
Develop operational frameworks for smooth functioning of projects and corporate office activities.
Monitor operational efficiency and ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables.
2. Project Coordination & Execution Monitoring
Coordinate with project execution teams for timely development activities.
Track:
Site progress
Infrastructure timelines
Amenities execution
Vendor deliverables
Material movement
Quality standards
Conduct weekly review meetings with engineering and project teams.
Ensure operational readiness for launches, soft launches, CP meets, and customer events.
Escalate critical execution risks to management proactively.
3. SOP Development & Process Implementation
Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across departments.
Build structured workflows for:
Lead management
Booking process
Documentation
Customer onboarding
Collections
Site visit management
Channel partner coordination
Handover process
Ensure all teams follow standardized operational protocols.
4. Sales & CRM Operational Support
Coordinate with Sales Head and CRM teams to improve:
Customer experience
Response timelines
Site visit conversion process
Booking documentation
Collection follow-ups
Ensure allotment letters, agreements, receipts, and customer communication are issued on time.
Monitor sales MIS, inventory tracking, and booking status reports.
Ensure high professionalism in customer handling.
5. Channel Partner & Launch Operations
Plan and execute operational requirements for:
CP Meets
Project launches
Site events
Investor meetings
HNI presentations
Coordinate event logistics, branding execution, hospitality, registrations, and team management.
Ensure premium customer and partner experience aligned with luxury brand positioning.
6. Vendor & Procurement Management
Identify and onboard vendors, contractors, consultants, and agencies.
Negotiate operational contracts and service agreements.
Monitor vendor performance and adherence to timelines.
Ensure cost optimization without compromising quality standards.
7. Compliance & Documentation Coordination
Coordinate with legal and liaison teams for approvals and documentation.
Ensure proper maintenance of:
Agreements
Licenses
Compliance records
Vendor contracts
Project documentation
Support teams in operational coordination related to:
RERA
Local authority approvals
Project registrations
Customer documentation
8. Administration & Facility Management
Manage office administration and facility operations.
Ensure operational discipline across offices and project sites.
Supervise transport, housekeeping, security, inventory, and asset management.
Maintain professional workplace standards across all company locations.
9. Team Leadership & Performance Management
Lead cross-functional operational teams.
Set KPIs and performance benchmarks for departments.
Conduct periodic performance reviews.
Drive accountability, ownership, and execution discipline.
Mentor teams to align with premium real estate brand standards.
10. MIS, Reporting & Strategic Coordination
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational MIS reports.
Track:

Site progress
Collections
Operational bottlenecks

Present operational dashboards and strategic updates to management.
Support leadership in business planning and expansion initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Management / Business Administration or related field.
MBA preferred.
Experience Required
10–18 years of experience in real estate operations management.
Experience with reputed real estate developers is preferred.
