Auto CAD Designer

Area27 offers home and building automation, audio-video, electronic security, entrance automation, and fire safety services to customers, driven by their vast technical expertise and exceptional customer experience.

Position Overview: An AutoCAD designer is responsible for developing detailed models, blueprints, and schematics. Working with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and refine designs. Making sure designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Keeping design records and documentation organized and up to date. Helping with project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Keeping up with industry trends, technologies, and software advancements.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings, layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections and detailed working drawings as per project requirements.
Develop and modify drawings based on project specifications and design requirements.
Prepare detailed drawings for interior, architectural and related technical projects.
Coordinate with the design and technical teams to understand drawing requirements and incorporate necessary changes.
Ensure drawings are accurate, properly detailed and follow required standards.
Maintain and organize drawing files and project documentation.
Assist in preparing quotations and basic project-related documentation when required.
Use basic Excel for maintaining project data, preparing calculations and documentation.

Qualifications

1–4 years of relevant experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and 2D drafting.
Interior Design or Architectural background preferred.
Good understanding of drawings, layouts, measurements and detailing.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel is required.
Knowledge of preparing quotations will be an added advantage.
Ability to understand project requirements and work independently as well as with a team.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Any relevant educational qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, Drafting or a related field.

Location: Guwahati.
